Abstract
Entrepreneurship happens in a variety of contexts but is closely linked to the culture, cultural heritage, and history of a region. The aim of this chapter is to examine the role of entrepreneurship in Latin America and Iberia, thereby highlighting the unique way specific social and political conditions have affected entrepreneurial rates and proclivity within countries. The role of an entrepreneurial society is discussed with a specific focus on Latin America and Iberia. This highlights how country and regional factors influence entrepreneurial capacity.
