Bruna Mota and Cátia Medeiros da Silva were two of the 12 young researchers in the field of Operational Research in Europe selected to be part of the WISDOM Forum initiative.
The researchers from CEG-IST, Bruna Mota and Cátia Medeiros da Silva, are part of the group of 12 researchers selected to join the YoungWomen4OR initiative. Launched by the WISDOM Forum (Women in Society: Doing Operational Research and Management Science), a working group within EURO (The Association of European Operational Research Societies), the initiative aims to publicize the emerging work of young women in the scientific research community operational. CEG-IST researchers were chosen from more than 30 candidates, along with 10 other young women from various European higher education institutions.
