EURO-HEALTHY – Shaping EUROpean policies to promote HEALTH equitY

Develop a  technological platform  - a Geoportal, to provide a snapshot of the health of the European population over multiple dimensions and geographical levels. A Population Health Index (PHI) was proposed. The PHI model was built using methods of multicriteria decision analysis, making use of the evidence on the multiple dimensions that population health entails (demographic, social, economic, physical and built environment, lifestyles, health care, mortality, etc.), with key stakeholders and experts closely involved in its development.
