Assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Technical University of Lisbon. She received a B.S. and M.S. degrees in Applied Mathematics and Computation from Technical University of Lisbon, and Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering from Technical University of Lisbon. She is a member of the Center for Management Studies of IST. Her research interests include probabilistic and statistical aspects of simulation, applications of simulation, stochastic models and simulation metamodels.
