Francisca Vitória holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics from Instituto Superior Técnico, completed in 2023, where she was included in the Academic Merit Board. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Data Science and Engineering at the same institution, and her Master’s dissertation, supervised by Inês Carrilho Nunes and Daniel Santos, investigates the relationship between innovation and socio-economic outcomes in the European Union.  Her research interests include economics, quality of life, and the application of  machine learning algorithms to assess socio-economic phenomena.
