Rui Infante is a Portuguese researcher at CEGIST working at the intersection of health decision-making, clinical guideline development, and applied artificial intelligence. He is currently undertaking a PhD at Instituto Superior Técnico, funded by an FCT BDANA grant, in partnership with the Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation Service of ULS Santa Maria. His work focuses on developing innovative, AI-enhanced methods to improve expert consensus and evidence synthesis in hospital and haematology settings. He holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and has professional experience as an analyst at NTT Data, where he worked on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Services projects. His broader aim is to bridge engineering, healthcare, and AI to strengthen clinical practice and support patient-centred decision-making.
