Paulo Alexandre Fernandes Varela Caldas completed his BSc in Economics on June 1, 1994, at the University of Lisbon, Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão, and earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Economics on December 15, 2017, at the University of New England in Australia. He is the Director of the Organic Unit of Economy, Financing, and Innovation at the Portuguese Industrial Association Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Additionally, he serves as an Associate Professor at GRUPO ENSINUS - Instituto Superior de Gestão, a Guest Associate Professor at the University of Lisbon, Instituto Superior Técnico, and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of New England, Australia. Paulo has published several articles in specialized journals and works primarily in the field of Social Sciences with an emphasis on Economics.
